Hazelnut and Chocolate Milk
Make your own delicious hazelnut milk with our recipe: its just like drinking Nutella!
Ingredients

½ cup hazelnuts,
toasted
·
water for soaking
·
4 cups water
·
2 Tbsp.
unsweetened cocoa powder
·
2 Tbsp. agave
nectar or sweetener of choice
·
½ tsp of salt
(optional)
Instructions
1.
Cover the toasted hazelnuts with water and soak them nuts overnight.
2.
Rinse the hazelnuts a few times and drain well.
3.
Place hazelnuts, cocoa, agave syrup and 2 cups of
fresh water in a blender and blend at highest speed for 3- 4 minutes or until it
results in a creamy and milky mixture.
4.
Drain the liquid through a colander lined with fine cheesecloth.
5.
Squeeze the hazelnuts pulp to extract the most liquid.
6.
Place the hazelnuts pulp in the blender and repeat step 3, 4 and 5.
7.
Place the hazelnuts and chocolate milk in clean glass bottle (I used a tomato passata bottle) and
keep in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. If it separates, shake it well
before serving.
Notes
You can use the hazelnuts
pulp to make a delicious chocolate spread (recipe will follow !!! ).
