Dairy and egg free moist chocolate cake
This is a perfect cake for children to bake. It is yummy, healthy and very easy to make as the batter is virtually lump free.
INGREDIENTS
200 grams flour, sifted
200 grams granulated sugar
75 grams cocoa powder, sifted
16 grams baking powder
1 teaspoon orange zest, grated
150 ml orange juice
300 ml coconut water
35 grams vegetable oil
Icing sugar for dusting
Combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder and baking powder in a large bowl.
Combine orange juice, coconut water and oil in a jar.
Pour the liquid ingredients on the dry ingredients and mix. No need to over mix.
Bake in a preheated oven at 170C for 45 minutes.
