Cardamom and Rose Petal Jam cake



1 cup of sugar
1 and 1/2 cups of self raising flour
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup yougurt
2 eggs
2 tsp ground cardamom
1/2 jar  mymoune rose petal jam from Marks and Spencer
1 tsp vanilla extract

Mix eggs, sugar, oil and yogurt.

Add the self rising flour, ground cardamom and a little vanilla extract.

Pour half of the the batter in a buttered baking tin, then add half of the jam with teaspoon-sized dollops on the batter.
Add the reaming half of the batter and repeat the teaspoon-sized dollops of jam on top of it.

Bake at 180C for about 45 min.
