Easy Water Cake
This cake is so simple to prepare, yet so nice, moist and versatile. The recipe below is used to make a Halloween marble mini bundt cake, but any flavour could be added, from hazelnuts to mint or whatever else takes your fancy! We also entered a competition on Dolly Bakes webpage with this cakes!
Ingredients:
250g self raising flour
250 g sugar
130 g sunflower oil
130g water
2 tsps baking powder
1tsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp cocoa
3 eggs
Preparation
Preheat your oven at 180C and butter a bundt mould, or a few small ones .
This is a very easy recipe to execute. In a food processor blend eggs, water, oil, sugar and vanilla extract or paste.
Add flour and baking powder and blend again.
Pour half of the dough into the mould, then add the two tablespoons of cocoa to the dough in the blender. Blend again.
Now pour the chocolate dough on top of the plain one, then with a spoon make a few circles in the dough in order to create a marble effect.
Bake for about 45 minutes if you are using a single mould, or about 15 to minutes for small ones, depending on the size.
Let the cake cool before removing it from the mould.
This cake will be most for quite a few days if kept in an airtight container.
